FINANCIAL ORGANIZATION BASICS

Don't Break Your Pig.   Feed Your Pig.
Part of getting organized is to declutter.

Clutter can be found in more areas of life than just your spaces. You can have clutter in your mind, clutter in your relationships, and clutter in your finances.

Clutter is anything you don't love, that doesn't cause you joy and that drains you. Clutter is everything that you are tolerating. Clutter in your financial life can become overwhelming, devastating and critical.

So, you ask, what is intolerable financially?

  • Frivolously Racking Up Bad Debt
  • Emotional Spending
  • Living Beyond Your Means  and:
  • Under Earning
And then you ask, what is my first step in getting Financially Organized? And other steps?
  1. Follow sound financial rules.
  2. Know the difference between a need and a want.
  3. Have a spending plan or system.
  4. Have a workable tracking plan.
  5. Compare each months results of the plan.
  6. Adjust your plan for better success.
You Got It!   FEED Your Pig!
Finally, if getting started is too overwhelming for you, then get help from a professional organizer.  I would love to give you a free consultation and get you started decluttering your finances.  I will show you several systems that could work well for you.

Visalia is my new home! I look forward to making new friends and clients.

One of the things I love about professional organizing is that it is a friendly service-oriented occupation.  The friends and clients I have made over the last 2 years have all remained friends and continue to keep in touch.  I don't know of a better way to make a living than by feeling appreciated and needed.  Thank you Anne, Ebony and Laurel for all your input and ideas.  And, thank you to the many others who have been brave and overcome their clutter habits with a Rainy Day Rescue.  It seems with every client, our corner of the world gets a little more peaceful and harmonious.

I welcome the opportunity to get to know the new families in Visalia and Tulare.  Just give me a call at 559-802-3871 or visit my website at RainyDayRescue.com.
