Use the QUICK process to organize your stuff.

  • Q -  Quantify -Know exactly what you have.  Decide what you have time for and want in your life.
  • U -  Unload - Commit to physically removing objects and set a deadline.
  • I -    Isolate - Sort and group all objects. Categorize and eliminate non-essential duplicates.
  • C -  Contain - Find homes for all the "keepers" that are effective, accessible and attractive.
  • K -  Keep It Up - Develop the habits. Maintain your systems and Tweak the un-workables.

Monitor your credit reports monthly and make sure you clear up any mistakes you see. A good service that I can recommend is IdentityGuard.com.  You can sign up on their site or you can sign up through Costco if you are a member.
